Job Responsibilities:
- Safely and efficiently transport vehicles using car carrier trailers within Europe.
- Adhere to all traffic laws, regulations, and safety standards while operating the car carrier.
- Conduct pre-trip inspections and perform necessary maintenance on the equipment.
- Secure vehicles properly to ensure safe transportation.
- Plan routes and schedules to meet delivery deadlines.
- Maintain accurate records of trips, including logbooks and inspection reports.
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers and other team members.
- Provide excellent customer service and address any inquiries or concerns promptly.
- Follow company policies and procedures at all times.
Qualifications:
- Valid driver’s license for the appropriate vehicle class.
- Proven experience as a car carrier driver or in a similar role.
- Excellent knowledge of road safety regulations and best practices.
- Ability to secure vehicles properly for transportation.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong time management and organizational skills.
- Physical fitness and the ability to handle manual tasks.
- Fluent in English (both written and verbal). Knowledge of other European languages is a plus.
